Spending Time In Indiana

Since our Condo in Puerto Vallarta was paid for, Kelly stayed one more week there after Dave left.  He then returned home back to Bend to unpack and get the house set up.  While he was there before joining Dave in Indiana he was able to catch up with some friends.
Here's Kelly with Chuck on a nice spring day at Crux.

Dave had breakfast with some high school friends on Saturday May 17.  Here's Dave with Ted who was in town from Washington DC.

Cindy, Spenser, Ashley, Brad & Delaney at Spenser's Birthday dinner.

Kelly joined Dave in IN on May 22nd.  Here's Kelly's first visit with Brad.

That afternoon we went to Country Gardens Greenhouse in New Paris.

Kelly took these colorful photos of some of the other greenhouses.

A selfie we took in downtown Goshen that night.

Saturday of Memorial Day weekend we went to Brad & Cindy's to help them get ready for Delaney's Graduation Open House the following day.  Here's Kelly & Delaney with the mini cupcakes they baked.

Here's a photo of the chocolate cupcakes with Keebler cookie on top.

These were really yummy Strawberry Lemonade.

Delaney's open house was well attended and it was a beautiful day.

On Memorial Day we did a drive up to Pokagan State Park in Angola, IN.  These shots are typical sites of Northern Indiana.

A view of Lake James at Pokagan State Park.

We made the trip up there for a quick visit with Michele & Steve Bever, shown here with Dave.

We tried to get out for runs or walks as much as we could while in IN.  Here's a photo of  the newest park in Goshen, Fidler's Pond which is very close to where Mom Haney lives.

We also enjoy running along the millrace, which starts here at the Goshen dam.

No trip to Indiana would be complete without all the hours we spend at the Great Niece and Great Nephew's ballgames.  Here's Hannah on first base after picking up a hit.

Friday May 30, we drove to Indianapolis to visit family down there.  Here's Avery batting during
her softball game that night.

Saturday morning started out with Josh's game.  Here he is up to bat.

After a quick lunch it was back to the ballpark for Micah's game.  Here's Micah at bat.

We had a large crowd of family at the game with Eric, Alison and the kids joining us.

Sunday afternoon Rob introduced us to the Triton brew pub near his house.  They even had homemade root beer for Josh.

Thursday night June 5, we made our annual visit to Kelly's Jae's restaurant in Goshen.  We always enjoy having a good meal here.  This was our lamb wontons.

Crostini's with goat cheese, pesto, sun dried tomatoes and fresh basil...YUM!

We drove to Illinois on Saturday the 7th for a visit with Steve & Ginny.  Here's Mom Haney and Steve.

We flew back home to Bend with Mom Haney on Monday June 10.
