McMurdo Wildlife and Rock Formations

Last Wednesday we went for a hike around Observation Hill.  It takes around 1.5 hours to complete (when lollygaging) and is an easy escape from town.  There are several melt pools on the opposite side.  This one had 3 sunbathing Weddell Seals and 1 swimming around in the blue water.

This is some cool looking geological feature that Dave found.  It was circular in shape with lots of layers.
