Australian A319

Winfly officially ended on September 23rd with the arrival of the first flight of Mainbody.  As you can see it was a beautiful day.

Here's a shot of the Airbus 319 as it landed at the Ice Runway

The A319 is contracted out of Melbourne, Australia.  The Australian Antarctic Program gives us so many Airbus flights in exchange for LC-130 flights that we'll be doing for them to their Casey Station later this month.

Here's a shot of Kelly unloading bags out of the small cargo hold on the A319.

Here's Dave to the right of the stairs getting the outbound passengers loaded on the plane.

Here's Dave to the right of the stairs and Kelly walking off the ramp.  The A319 flew two flights for us in September and will be back again in November.
