Yakima to Goshen

Here's a family photo of us with Mom & Dad Cheek and the Wehrman's on the day of their open house.

We drove back to Bend on Sunday the 6th and spent the next four days getting Dave's house rented, doing taxes and numerous other chores.

We flew to Chicago on Thursday the 1oth and drove to Indiana to visit Dave's family.

Here's a picture of Kylie & Carter Great Niece and Nephew.
This picture of Dave is with his newest Great Nephew Anson, who was born last November. This was the first time we meet him.

Here's Kelly with Great Nephew Joshua.

We've had a great week so far in Goshen spending a lot of time with Mom Haney and playing a lot of cards. We've also visited some friends and made a few trips to the neighboring small towns. This past Wednesday we took a drive over to Shipshewana, known for it Amish community. We enjoyed walking through all the Amish furniture shops. On the way back to Goshen we stopped at Bonneyville Mill Park. It's a working grist mill shown in the picture here which was built in 1832.

Visting Kelly's Family in Yakima

Our first two weekends back in the states were spent celebrating with Kelly's family in Yakima. The day after we arrived home was nephew Trevor's 17th birthday. Here he is with his Mother Raeleen at his Ice Cream party.

The following day we celebrated Christmas in March. We had a proper Christmas feast with turkey & dressing and yummy desserts. After the wonderful meal we had our gift exchange.

The day we flew back home the Cheeks welcomed a new addition to the family. They adopted a very lovable puppy named Sage. She's part German Shepherd and part Doberman (We think). Here she is getting a tour of the grounds with Trevor & Colton.

After heading to Bend on Monday the 31st (and spending the week unpacking and getting our house in order), we drove back up to Yakima on Saturday the 5th to Celebrate the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Mom & Dad Cheek. We had an Open House for them at their home and it was a great day and a good turnout.
